Gums Lightened to Match Rest of Mouth

Patient presented complaining of visible dark pigmented gum tissue. Considering the patient’s concern, laser gum depigmentation was planned for treatment. Laser gum depigmentation was then performed to vaporize and remove the thin layer of soft tissue and eliminate the cells that produce melanin.
