This patient had dentures that covered the palate and was very uncomfortable, and had been wearing them for years. Even though the teeth had been missing for some time, there was still adequate bone to accept implants. A Computer-guided surgical stent was fabricated, with precise guides for the implant placement. The patient’s remaining teeth were extracted, and the extraction sites were preserved with a bone graft. Then, the implants were placed according to the stent, and immediate teeth were loaded. The patient left the office with a brand new smile and no more palatal coverage, allowing for easy talking and chewing.
